St John's Church

Atkinson Roe worked with Jon Finlayson (pictured), the original architect of this remarkable 1970 Civic Trust Award winning church in New Barnet. The project involved the provision of a new tea point and accessible toilet cantilevered from the main worship space level. On completion, a Rededication Service was held led by the Minister, the Reverend Julian Templeton, with a contribution from the Deputy Mayor of Barnet, Councillor Val Duschinsky and the Moderator of the United Reformed Church Thames North Synod, the Reverend Dr Andrew Prasad (pictured).
